THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
Part IV: Poetic Pillars – Monads (to Diads): RHYTHMS
[ VII ]
*** Chirps ***
*
“Old monks
Came close
To hear
My birds; –
Hearts dwell
In love,
When springs
Of tears
Seek life; –
*** Root ***
Such bliss,
To have
No fears!.. –
- No words
To shove,
To sculpt,
In wood,
Or stone,
Burnt tears; –
*** Root ***
These birds
Are free,
Like what
Is Thee
To me, –
No cage,
No chain,
No whip,
No sword, –
*** Root ***
For each
Tight chirp,
A tune
To heal,
To mend,
To care, –
I climb
Their stairs
And feel; -”
